Business Objects was trying to maintain its lead as the largest and most successful
Business Intelligence provider in the world. With a 50% lead in BI software
license revenue over its closest competitor, Business Objects wanted to
maintain this lead and raise the level of brand and product awareness through
their education online seminars.
The registration and notification
process for the seminars was manual and it involved
a combination of online and offline communications
that were cumbersome and time consuming.
